EPEAT Commitment

FedTec’s Polaris offerings consist of information technology services and IT services-based solutions. FedTec does not manufacture, resell, or furnish electronic hardware as ancillary equipment under Polaris task orders as a matter of standard practice. In the event that electronic hardware is required as ancillary equipment under a Polaris task order, FedTec commits to offering products registered on the Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool (EPEAT) — the IT product global eco-label maintained by the Global Electronics Council — at the EPEAT Bronze Level or higher, consistent with FAR Subpart 23.1 (Sustainable Acquisition), FAR 52.223-23, and the Polaris Master Contract, where an EPEAT-registered option exists for the product category specified by the ordering agency.
