FedTec Awarded $220 Million SSA Cybersecurity Support Services Task

Reston, VA –   FedTec, a leading provider of mission-focused digital and cybersecurity solutions for federal agencies, has been awarded two task orders totaling approximately $220 million with the Social Security Administration (SSA) under the Systems IT Support (SITS) BPA. These awards include Cybersecurity and Technology Strategy Support Services task. 

Under the cybersecurity task, FedTec will support SSA’s enterprise cybersecurity mission, helping to safeguard critical systems, protect sensitive data, and strengthen the agency’s overall security posture. The work aligns with SSA’s broader efforts to enhance risk management, modernize security operations, and ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity standards. 

The scope includes support across a wide range of cybersecurity functions, including security assessments and authorization, risk management, continuous monitoring, and cybersecurity engineering. FedTec will also contribute to initiatives related to Zero Trust architecture, insider threat detection, and security operations support, helping SSA maintain resilience against evolving cyber threats. 

Through the Technology Strategy Support Services task, FedTec will provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to help SSA align its IT investments with mission priorities. This includes supporting enterprise architecture, IT governance, modernization planning, and advancing innovative technologies to improve service delivery and operational efficiency across the agency.
